Mary Ann Lomonaco’s three-dimensional mixed media constructions are made from recycled, reclaimed, reconstructed “stuff” using a variety of techniques and materials. Her artwork is made primarily from found objects, those things most of us already have as opposed to things we purchase.
The site was designed in Squarespace, a Content Management System (CMS) which is composed of a website builder, blogging platform and hosting service. Squarespace is particularly well-suited to artists’ websites as there are many portfolio templates to choose from. Mary Ann is now blogging about her latest work, an installation at San Francisco Airport.
“Judith at Painted Pages Web Design was all that I had hoped for in a designer. I recently completed designing a new website with her invaluable help both literally and artistically. She gave her full attention to the details of the design as well as to the ease of use for me. She was tireless in promptly responding to my questions and concerns, understood exactly what I was aiming for and listened well.”
